Tell the Sky

Child safety standards

Last updated 5 November 2026

The short version

Our standards

Tell the Sky is run by AI Genius Consulting LLC. These standards apply to everything on it: messages, vessel names and notes, display names, and how anyone uses it. You must not use Tell the Sky to sexually exploit, abuse or endanger a child. That includes:

Sexual content involving minors is never allowed, and we report it to the authorities. No sexually explicit content of any kind is allowed on Tell the Sky. The full rules are in our Terms of Use.

Tell the Sky is for adults

You must be 18 or older to use Tell the Sky. You confirm this by ticking “I’m 18 or older” when you sign up or sign in. We do not ask for your age or date of birth. If we learn that someone under 18 has an account, we will delete it. If you believe someone has, write to [email protected].

Report it in the app

You can report without leaving the app. You need to be signed in. You can report any message on a chain you have been shown, and any vessel that was offered to you or that you wrote on.

  1. Tap the ⋯ button beside the message or vessel.
  2. Choose Report.
  3. Choose A child’s safety (sexual content or exploitation). You can add anything that would help us.
  4. Tap Send report.

The person you report is never told who reported them. If you only saw a vessel’s name on the map, or you don’t have an account, write to us instead.

What happens next

Our child safety contact

Noah is our contact for child safety. Write to [email protected] and put “Child safety” in the subject. Anyone can write, with or without an account, including parents, safety organisations and law enforcement.

If a child is in danger

Contact your local emergency services first. Tell the Sky is not an emergency service and we can’t locate people. You can also go straight to the police or a child protection hotline in your country.
